Scenario:

Actually, Lisa wanted to go back to school that afternoon because she had left something on her desk that morning that she absolutely needed today to correct her students' classwork. She is an elementary school teacher. But even starting off with the stubborn VW Beetle proves difficult again. She needs several attempts before she can finally get going. The engine runs roughly at first after she successfully starts it, which takes about four and a half minutes. After a while, Lisa manages to drive a good distance through the streets. But at minute 7:10 of this clip, the engine stalls at a T-junction. After about a minute and a half of unsuccessful attempts to restart it, the engine finally comes back to life, to Lisa's relief.

For a little over a minute, Lisa can drive again before the VW Beetle decides to stall once more. Visibly annoyed, Lisa starts the engine again. 

After a while, she manages to get it going and can drive a bit further. At 12:20, Lisa is deciding in a turning circle to turn back and drive home because she suspects she probably won't make it to school and back, when the engine stalls again. You can clearly see her right black kitten heel gently pumping the gas pedal, trying to prevent the engine from dying. Over the next four minutes, Lisa tries to start the engine again. 

In between, she gets out, goes to the back, opens the hood, and checks to see if she can spot what’s causing the engine’s stubbornness. 

She closes the hood and tries again.

Only at minute 16:20 of this clip does the engine start again. Lisa now hopes that she can at least make it home. Luckily, she reaches the driveway of her house. But just before she gets to the house – there are still a few meters – the engine stalls again. Lisa wants to start the VW Beetle once more. But until the end of the clip, every attempt to start it fails. Of course, it seems like the engine wants to start again, as you can hear in many attempts before, but now the engine has probably flooded as well. Persistent as she is, Lisa keeps trying. 

But you can hear the battery getting weaker and weaker. Until the very last, soft sound, Lisa completely drains the battery.
