Scenario:

Adriana especially loves completely draining car batteries.

How many might she have done in her life? MANY! Absolutely!

But as a performer in the role of the futile engine starter, she finds it particularly enjoyable, since she doesn't have to go anywhere. Back then, though, when it was bitterly cold in winter and she had to go to work in the mornings, it often happened that the battery was drained completely before it could be jump-started.

Adriana was always nervous about whether she'd make it to work on time, even though she left the house earlier than in the warmer months to give herself enough time for the starting attempts. Here, in this clip, the scenario is shown from three different angles, one after the other. These are briefly shown in the preview. In addition, there are two shots beforehand of Adriana, wearing her old black rubber boots, walking to and getting into her old '89 Ford Fiesta.

Even during the fourth attempt to start the car, Adriana hears the starter motor slowing down. It's clear she's taking great pleasure in draining every last drop from the battery, hearing every last, faint sound.
