On an autumnal day that, as this clip unfolds, promises not only rain but also thunderstorms, Marleen isn't deterred from trying to start the old '90 Seat Marbella. The preview already briefly shows all the scenes that will appear in the clip. After several attempts, Marleen manages to get the engine to sputter and rev. The fan belt squeals agonizingly because the entire engine is damp from sitting unused for so long in the humid environment. Wearing her right high heel, two sizes too big for her, which she borrowed from a friend, she even occasionally uses the heel to tap the accelerator pedal. This happens both during the revving and the starting attempts. It's particularly beautiful to watch how Marleen moves her upper body in the seat – gently back and forth, as if trying to coax the engine into action. She takes off her left high heel and places her left foot, still covered by her sock, on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel. Marleen manages to get the engine to chug gently at idle every now and then. But eventually, it always stalls again after a while.
The rain is getting heavier, and now there are occasional claps of thunder. Marleen has her feet sticking out on the driver's side. She's crossed her right leg over her left and is doing a joyful dangling. The rain is making her high heels and socks increasingly wet. The sole of her right high heel is clearly glistening. Marleen has to keep trying to restart the engine. Has the engine flooded, or have the spark plugs gotten wet? She manages to get the engine at least sputtering. Before Marleen catches a cold, she decides to give up. She changes out of her high heels and into cowboy boots and, with her high heels still on her fingers, heads towards the Opel Corsa to seek shelter from the storm
