The car looks completely weathered because so many leaves have accumulated on it over time.

Plus, it’s been wet lately. 

Could it be that Tina can’t start the engine because moisture has gotten into the engine compartment? That shouldn’t really be a problem for a diesel engine. But look at Tina as she struggles to start the engine. Unfortunately, without success. She’s wearing knee-high platform boots that need to be laced up. 

She’s also wearing a leather jacket that several actresses have worn before.
